Drowsy Driving Prevention Week™
This year marks the National Sleep Foundation's third annual Drowsy Driving Prevention Week™, a national campaign to educate drivers about the dangers of driving while sleepy. According to the National Sleep Foundation’s 2009 Sleep in America Poll, 1% or 1.9 million drivers have had a car crash or a near crash due to drowsiness in the past year. Save lives by promoting awareness of this under-reported problem.

The National Sleep Foundation's Big Sleep Show is a consumer health expo held in cities around the country that is solely dedicated to promoting good sleep and alertness.
Sleep Care Leadership Summit
The National Sleep Foundation invites CEOs and senior executives responsible for developing and managing their sleep centers to hear directly from sleep care industry leaders about their perspectives on current market conditions, key business challenges, opportunities, and future needs.
Sleep Health & Safety 2010
National Sleep Foundation is proud to present Sleep Health & Safety 2010. This is a first of its kind sleep health conference, including clinical medicine, public health, and transportation safety. This conference demonstrates how sleep is central to health, transportation safety, and school performance. These areas have seldom been explored in one setting, until now.
Annual Awards Dinner
The annual Awards Dinner is the single event at which the Foundation recognizes individuals and organizations that have made major contributions to the field of sleep. It attracts thought leaders, scientists, researchers and industry executives as well as physicians attending the annual Sleep Health and Safety Conference.
National Sleep Awareness Week®
National Sleep Awareness Week®, which takes place March 7-13, 2010, is an annual public education and awareness campaign to promote the importance of sleep. The week begins with the announcement of the National Sleep Foundation's Sleep in America poll results and ends with the clock change to Daylight Saving Time, where Americans lose one hour of sleep.
Sleep Health and Safety - Call for Abstracts
The National Sleep Foundation has withdrawn its "Call for Abstracts" and canceled its poster sessions for Sleep Health & Safety 2010, March 5-6, in National Harbor, Maryland. We regret any inconvenience.
